How to Start a Happier Place Live Chat
Quick clarification: the Happier Place Live Chat is “typed only” – not a voice call.
Step 1: Look to the bottom right of whatever screen you’re using (desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone), and you’ll see the Happier Place Live Chat icon or text box.
If chat is live online then:
On a computer, the live chat text box says “Have a question? Chat with us.”
On a mobile device the live chat icon is a speech bubble icon.
Step 2: Click on the icon and a window will pop up, asking you to type in your name and your question, comment or wisdom… or whatever it is you’d like to communicate to start off the chat. Then just click the “start chat” button and we’ll be notified and respond.
Why Have a Live Chat
Since we sell and ship products, it makes perfect sense to have a live chat in case someone has questions about choosing a product or placing an order. But we didn’t launch Happier Place just to sell products to make your Happy Place better. We also aim to inspire, encourage, educate and learn.
So in addition, we invite you to ask us any questions related to any of our posts as well: location guides, outdoor food and drink recipes, know-how articles, news from the Happier Place workshop, inspiring people interviews and monthly #HappierPlace round-ups.
Of course, we’re also here for any of comments. We welcome your own wisdoms, concerns and ideas.
Now to be totally honest: Whiskey Dog will NOT be participating directly in any of the chats. But she’ll be close by as we (mostly Luci) will be responding to your questions and suggestions.
When to Live Chat
Our aim is to have the the chat online: Monday – Friday from 9am EST to 7pm EST and whenever possible on the weekend.
What to Do When “Chat Is Offline”
We do try to “practice what we preach” and spend as much time outdoors as possible. So sometimes we’ll be responding to chats from a mobile device. And sometimes we may not have coverage and will be offline for a spell. Please bare with us during those times.
Whenever the chat is offline: you can still leave a message and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
Just click on the “live chat is currently offline” text box or the envelope icon, and a message window will appear.
Of course, you’re always welcome to send us a message via the Contact Us page. Our response might just not be as immediate as with live chat.
Last but definitely not least: we love it when you leave a public comment directly on a post. Love it!
