Take a Break in the First Happier Place Tank Top

The first Happier Place tank top is so soft and comfortable you’ll probably wish you could wear it all the time.

Our first tank top needed to be outstanding. We believe we achieved that with the Take A Break racerback tank top. It’s 100% cotton, made sustainably and ethically, and has a super comfortable fit for carefree outdoor fun times. It took a while to sample a variety of tank tops. And we’re a bit bummed that we couldn’t release it during the summer. But fortunately, we’re on the Florida Gulf Coast and the perfect summer weather has just arrived… and maybe we’ll see you here for a beach vacation soon…

Now we are thrilled we can finally present you with the The Take a break. Go outside. Have fun. racerback tank top!

The 100% combed ring-spun fine jersey cotton tank top was ethically made by California-based eco-conscious LAT Apparel and hand-printed hyper-locally in our neighborhood by Craft Tee. LAT apparel is produced ethically in their socially-compliant WRAP-certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) factories that are sweatshop-free and child labor-free.

The Happier Place tank top is a shirt that feels great and you can feel great about because you choose to support small businesses, sustainability, the environment and fair treatment of workers. You definitely deserve to take that break and have fun outdoors!

The Take a break. Go outside. Have fun. racerback tank top has a loose contouring fit so you can feel comfortable no matter your body shape or what shape your body is in the day you wear it. The combed ring-spun cotton feels soft on your skin. As with all our other shirts, we stayed away from any polyester or polyester blends because of how those make you sweat more and the link to micro plastics.

Originally, we had really wanted this tank top in black. Unfortunately, by the time our (previous) screenprinting partner placed the order, the black shirt was out of stock, and probably discontinued. This may be related to the current supply chain situation? In any case, we switched gears quickly and chose the light titanium grey instead of the sold-out black.

We’re telling you this because:
1. We hope we’ll have a black tank top in the future. But we don’t want to settle for one that doesn’t check all our standards of quality, looks, and ethics.
2. It looks like the titanium shirt might also sell out. So we already consider it a limited edition. So get yours while we have them! (After this weekend’s market, in XS we only have 2 left.)

What we love about the titanium color is that (naturally) grey goes with everything, just like black and white. What’s extra cool: see how in some of the photos it almost looks like smooth metal, but not sparkly. They don’t call it titanium for nothing.
