#HappierPlace Instagram Inspiration – December 2017

HappierPlace Instagram Inspiration - December 2017

Here are some of our favorite nature and landscape photos that were tagged #HappierPlace on Instagram in December 2017. Maybe one of your own photos is among them?

Photos and videos might be the most effective tools to inspire others to take a break, go outside and have some fun. That’s why we put quite a bit of focus on creating and sharing videos and photos – and not just our own…

The Happier_Place Instagram feed is a mixture of our own photos and photos taken by others (which we re-share with permission and giving credit, of course).

We encourage photographers to follow us and tag their photos #HappierPlace to let us know that we have permission to re-share their photos via our profile. This way, they get more exposure for their work… and we can provide more diverse inspiration to everyone.

As additional enticement, we also give away a Happier Place product to one lucky photographer every month.

By the way, we’re doing the same thing on Google+

In addition to the gallery on Instagram itself, every month we also feature some of the #HappierPlace-tagged photos here on our website (directly from the original photographer’s feed, not our re-share). Here are a few of our December favorites:

We’ve decided to feature only one photo per photographer in this post – even though some photographers had multiple pictures we considered our favorites.

If you want to see more, just follow Happier_Place on Instagram… or any of the photographers featured above.

And just because… here’s your monthly picture of Whiskey Dog (which happens to also include Scott):

  2. Thanks for the feature!

    1. I’m so glad you appreciate it, Lauri. I thought it would be really cool to expose an off-Instagram audience to these beautiful Instagram photos. But you never know how people feel about… Yours is the first feedback we’re getting about this. Unfortunately, on mobile the sizes get pulled out of whack. But on desktop everyone’s photos look so wonderful.
      xx Luci
